what if the time stops ticking at 11:44 AM
On Tuesday, 11th March 2008, Kylie came over and we baked a cake for her mother's birthday. When it comes to baking, I dare label ourselves noobs. Two silly people happily followed the instructions from the recipe book...
There ought to be more pictures, but we had lots of sifting and mixing to do. And, and..the end product:
Yea, yea. Check that solid black thing out. Hahaha. Don't laugh okay, it's made with LOVE (: So anyway, turns out the recipe had not one, but TWO errors in it. Damn the translator who translated Chinese to English. 5 eggs, become 1 egg. 1/2 a teaspoon of salt, become 1/2 tablespoon. You can probably imagine how flat and SALTY the cake is.

Since it's the school holidays (for Primary & Secondary) now, there's a holiday workshop at my workplace (which just ended yesterday). There was this girl, Melodee, I took for her bag painting workshop on Thursday. Pretty, young girl who's very cheeky and creative. On Friday, when I came, she gave me this:
Sweet huh? A colleague asked me to laminate and keep it. Maybe I'll do that. Currently contemplating on whether I should continue working when school resumes. Will see how it goes la (:
