Saturday, December 22, 2007what if the time stops ticking at 9:20 PM
Yes, it's December. Maybe, just maybe, everyone's favourite month. 'Cause it is the festive month (presents!), and it also means a brand new year is coming. Somehow, I don't have that
feel...(that the year is ending & all..)
This year has been really, really different for me. Think maybe it's because of Polytechnic. Like another step in life. But I think I've grown with these new experiences, as they come along my way.
2007. Especially December, have not been a good month. I experienced loss, I grieved. I did something I never did in my entire life (believe it or not), I skipped school. (there goes my record!) And this year's probably the year I've visited the doctor's most.
A little elaboration for the clueless:My precious little darling (my hamster) parted from the world on 10th December, at around 10 in the morning. I was in school then. When I recieved the news, tears streamed down my face immediately. I cried, and I cried. Some say, "It's just a hamster." But she (my hamster) has somehow become part of my family. I adore her truckloads. Unfortunately, after approximately 2.5years she has to go. Till today, I still think of her. We had a mini funeral for her at the park. I very much want to visit her grave, but afraid I'd weep again. Things come and go. Life...a cruel thing. I regret so much not bidding her farewell that very morning. Of all mornings, why must mommy wake me up late that day. (No, I'm not blaming her.) Normally, after my bath I play with her a little while, feed her. But not that day. I'm sorry.

On 11th December, I left after my test, because I've got sty infection (some eye infection). My left eye swelled up till I couldn't see and it was so painful. My facilitator asked me to go home. The next day, I didn't go for class too. Classmates of mine would know I've never skipped school before. Not once. But on 12th December, I did. Oh well, there's a first time to everything.
Tomorrow is 'Christmas Eve' eve. I've got all my presents ready for my loved ones. And have two parties coming up. Oh dear, I hate crowds. Time to take the familiar smiley mask out of the dusty old shelf (ok, ok. I don't have a dusty old shelf =x)
Thank you family & friends, for accompanying me throughout 2007. A New Year awaits us. New challenges awaits us. LOVES! (:
